What personal data is collected as standard?
Every time a user accesses a page on our website and every time a file is accessed, we and sometimes third parties store access data about this process in the form of log files. This data set contains:
Website from which you access our site
- IP address
- Access date/time
- Client request
- http response code
- Amount of data transferred
- Browser & Operating System
We cannot assign this data to specific people. This data is not merged with other data sources. Users' access to our websites is stored in server log files, including the IP address. It is not possible for us to draw any conclusions about a specific person when using the data.
Your data will be processed in accordance with the EU data protection amendment. However, we would like to point out possible exceptions to this declaration (e.g. "Google Analytics") if third-party tools are used that have their servers located abroad.
Duration of data storage
Personal data is stored for the duration of the statutory retention period. After expiry of this period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted unless it is no longer required to fulfill or initiate a contract.
Data collection and use when ordering in the online shop
When you order from our online shop, we collect the following data from you: first name, last name, if applicable company, street, postcode, city, country, telephone number, email address, selected shipping method, selected payment method and if applicable an individual text message. The provision of this data is necessary for the processing, execution and invoicing of all purchases made by you, otherwise you cannot order from us. Providing your telephone number and a text message is not required but recommended. If you give us your number, we can contact you quickly if we have any questions. You agree to the storage of your telephone number for this purpose.
If you place an order without a customer account (“pay as a guest”), we will process the data you enter solely for the processing, execution and invoicing of your purchase. Unless we are legally obliged to retain this data for a longer period (e.g. due to accounting regulations), we will only store it for as long as necessary - in principle until the end of the statutory period for claims arising from the purchase contract.
If you create a customer account with us, we will save all the data you provide, as well as all purchases made with this account, along with the data you provide for this account, so that you can access it again later. The data will be saved until you delete your account, unless we are legally obliged to keep it for a longer period. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and cannot be viewed by us.
We use the data you provide exclusively to fulfill the contract and strictly in accordance with the legal regulations. For this purpose, your data will be passed on to other companies, such as the post office, other parcel services and payment service providers, if necessary. These companies act as "contract processors" for us and may only use your data to process specific orders. They are contractually obliged to us to comply with the legal regulations on data protection.
The payment process is carried out via our selected payment providers. We therefore do not collect any data about payments made by credit card or online transfer. The entire ordering process is encrypted using SSL.
In the event of a legal requirement, an official order or an official investigation, we are obliged to make the relevant data available to the authorities.
Data security
We protect our website and other systems as best as possible through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, alteration or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.
